This has led to women shrinking themselves and limiting their achievements to avoid societal labels, while those who want to succeed are unable to gain access to resources including finance and mentorship to excel. How FairMoney is Helping Women Be Their Own Women.

FairMoney recognizes this problem and has decided to power the Be Your Own Woman initiative. With this initiative we want to help women become financially independent, create wealth, build and sustain their business, create personal brands as well as leverage financial options to scale up. 

As part of the Be Your Own Woman initiative, FairMoney is holding a one day webinar for women within the FairMoney community. In this webinar we hope to get our women inspired and motivated to push through the barriers and biases placed on them by society. We are also giving out 100,000 naira to 3 women, as a small grant that will be channeled towards their personal growth and businesses.

The Be Your Own Woman Webinar will feature a panel made up of 4 powerful and inspiring women (3 panelists and 1 moderator). 

• Toyin Abraham – She has risen through the ranks in the Nigerian movie scene and is doing great in the male dominated industry as a producer. 

• Oluwatosin Olaseinde: The founder of Money Africa; She is a woman who has taken financial literacy for women to a whole new level and is helping people make better financial decisions.

• Morycoco – A rising content creator who consistently entertains and promotes brands with original content.
